Connect an AI assistant to Mason
Mason can be read from an AI assistant that supports remote MCP servers. The connection is read-only, and it uses your own Mason sign-in.
1. Server address
Add Mason as a remote MCP server. Its server address is https://mason.intergentech.ai/api/mcp. Add it as a connector, not as a web link.
2. Sign in and approve
- Your assistant sends you to Mason's sign-in page. Sign in with the address you use for Mason: an emailed code, or your password.
- Mason then asks you to approve the application. The consent page names the application, the address it returns you to, and the workspace it will read.
- Deny ends the attempt. The application is given no access.
3. Workspaces
A connection reads one workspace at a time. The workspace is chosen on the consent page, and you can change it later on the connections page in your account. If your account belongs to one workspace, that is the one. The mason_workspaces_list tool reports which workspace is in force.
4. Read-only
Every tool is read-only. No tool changes an agreement, a settled position or an obligation, and no tool takes a workspace identifier: the workspace comes from the connection.
5. Tools
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| mason_positions_list | List the workspace's settled positions in the order they were recorded, optionally filtered by topic or status. |
| mason_position_get | Fetch one settled position by id, or by topic_key plus position_key. |
| mason_clauses_find | Find the clauses in this workspace that a topic's matcher selects, across the current version of every agreement unless one is named. |
| mason_obligations_due | List obligations across every agreement in the workspace whose deadline resolved to a calendar date inside the window. |
| mason_agreement_findings | The findings raised on one agreement version, grouped by the gate that raised them, with the clause each is anchored to. |
| mason_workspaces_list | The workspaces this account belongs to, and the one every other tool reads (`in_force`). |
| search | Find agreements by title, clauses by text or heading (current versions only), and settled positions by statement, for the words given. |
| fetch | One thing `search` returned, in full: an agreement's review as text (gates first, then every finding with its clause), a clause's heading and text, or a settled position with its sources. |
6. Disconnecting
To disconnect an application, open its entry in your account's connections page and disconnect it. It can no longer renew its access, and any access it already holds stops working when its current token expires, within the hour.
